It's not always rainbows and butterflies when you move to a new country.
Not everything about moving to Italy is rainbows, butterflies, spritz, pasta, and perfect sunsets.
Everyone I’ve met who has been through the process of relocating to Italy or who lives in Italy will tell you that dealing with Italian bureaucracy is a test of sheer will. Some folks I’ve met here have compared it to a performance or a show. You as a participant in this dramatic performance just have to go along for the ride and find some entertainment value along the way, even though at times you may not understand why certain things are happening the way that they are. Even Italian people I’ve spoken to say that you just have to go with the absurdity of it all at times and understand that it’s not you.
