I can’t sit still. For five years now I’ve been trying to heal from grief, learn to regulate my nervous system (even though I work in news!) and to deprogram my brain from America’s toxic hustle. One thing I’ve struggled with is implementing a habit of daily meditation in my life. As I said, this is incredibly difficult for me to do because I can’t sit still and my brain is constantly thinking. And the voice in my head…She won’t shut the fuck up.

But I am getting better. So here are five simple ways I’ve integrated a meditation habit into my life. I’m a beginner, I started small, and made it as easy as possible so I stayed consistent.
